Lazarus
Getting laid off sucks! I hope things work out for you fella, you could take it as an opportunity to try some other line of work, sometimes a change renews your enthusiasm. Alex
Holy shite dude. Hope you get something soon. Hope they gave you an almighty payoff for your years of service.
Nic
That sucks Jake, I hope you get something sorted out soon mate. I lost my job due to illness (not same workers rights here) after 8 years of very comitted service, fcuking corporations! Use the time to have a bit of a break and to do some stuff you never had time to do before. Good luck
Jspec Germany
That's a real bummer Jake. :thumbdown Sorry to hear you got the shaft (no pun intended). If you're looking to go postal, I may be able to source you an "arvin rifle ... never been fired and only dropped once". Look at it this way, now you have an excuse to sit on the couch in your underwear eating cheetos and watching Top Gear. If you don't find any work in a couple of months, I'm still looking for a fluffer for my upcoming porn release staring yours truly. Don't worry. We can make up for any size falacies with digital special effects.

Pete
Kingfisher are b*stards. They well and truly shafted my old man. (Woolworths) Lots of lay offs at the moment. Things aren't looking so good. Reckon I'll go and setup a Boatshed.com in Greece or something.

SkyJawa
You'll be ok mate - 17 years of shelf stacking should see you right - I'm sure Sainsburys, Tesco's, Asda, Homebase are always after em On a serious note, what a bummer, but as said you should get a good package and you'll find something else, and a change is always good anyway! TBH, wish my place had laid me off with the latest redundancies, would have made me get off my ass and do something!
