gsportcars
After battling with myself for quite some time I have decided not to go ahead and rebuild my Lexus ISupra (2jzgte engined IS200). So pretty much everything is going up for sale. I live in N.Ireland so delivery will need added onto the listed price. Usually no more expensive than normal when using the right courier etc. Many smaller items can be sent via parcelforce which, from memory, starts at a standard £14 up to a certain size/weight. I am currently out of the country at the minute but I will be back on 27th July. I can then start to fully update the list with all parts and pictures too. For now I will add what I can. I also have limited wifi access here so please bare with me when waiting for replies etc. 2JZ-GTE VVTi engine. This engine was removed from a crashed car by a local breakers here. I am told the car had circa 70k miles. I haven't ran this engine yet myself. The water pump was damaged but I replaced this with the pump from my other 2jz. I have made some modifications to the engine to specifically suit my setup. ARP head studs were fitted with a new Toyota head gasket. A second cam sensor was custom fitted to run fully sequential ignition and injection (this doesn't affect anything if running standard ecu as it will simply not be used). All new valve stem oil seals where fitted and the valves where given a clean and re-lapped into the head. The engine is currently fitted with a front mount sump and oil pan from a Lexus IS300 (I still have the rear sump setup temporarily bolted to my old block). The block currently has engine IS200 engine mounts and brackets from a GS300. I have the original twin turbo setup and original inlet manifold here if needed. I did see a little oil seeping from the front turbo a while after they were removed but everything was running 100% before the original car was crashed. I also have a partially used full engine gasket kit here that I was using to refresh the seals in the engine. From memory the only seal missing is the inlet side cam cover gasket as the kit is for a non vvti. The engine was also fitted with a kevlar (gates I think) timing belt. As for pricing I am not really sure and it would depend on whether someone wanted just the bare complete block or the factory turbos/inlet etc. At a guess I would say.. £2000 for the engine and £2300 with the turbos and inlet.plus delivery https://imageshack.com/i/07y0haj https://imageshack.com/i/gh87fsj https://imageshack.com/i/5tpwp5j https://imageshack.com/i/gvycg6j K-Conversions stainless tubular divided entry single turbo manifold (modified) I ran this manifold with a Garrett T66 turbo making around 500hp. The twin wastegate feed pipes were modified to relocate the wastegate above the manifold and to the rear of the engine bay. The T4 turbo flange is clocked slightly for a better fitment. The wastegate exit is currently fitted with a v-band for a 50mm v-band wastegate. I have an XS power unit here that I will throw in as part of the deal. This wastegate worked flawlessly at 1 bar spring pressure. The manifold has also been fitted with fittings for individual EGT sensors as can be seen (These can simply be plugged if not needed). It is painted with DEi heat resistant black paint and also wrapped with DEi titanium exhaust wrap. I have included a link to my previous setup to show the layout of the turbo and wastegate in the (very tight) IS200 engine bay. £400 + delivery https://imageshack.com/i/j72e07j https://imageshack.com/i/mj0owmj https://imageshack.com/i/07nf7wj Fluid Damper crank pulley (New in box / never fitted) This crank pulley/damper was bought new recently for the engine but I haven't fitted it yet. Price is around £390 + delivery on Tegiwa...http://www.tegiwaimports.com/select-car/toyota/supra/engine-tuneup/fluidampr-crank-pulley-toyota-supra-1jz-2jz.html £300 + delivery Walbro Turbine 450lph in tank pump (Brand new. This is already fitted but has never been run) As above, this is currently fitted to the car in my factory fuel tank. The factory IS200 fuel pump housing was modified. The pump has never been run. I previously had a walbro 255 fitted. I will remove the pump from this housing for the buyer. New price is around £120-£130. £90 + delivery https://imageshack.com/i/0jo2v8j Getrag V160 gearbox This box was originally bought from a member on here quite a few years ago (circa 2006/7). In my ownership the box has done around 3000 miles or so and it is currently running Royal Purple oil. The oil will need drained before delivery anyway and I can recommend using Royal Purple to the buyer. The shifter bracket was modified previously to suit the IS200. Basically the bracket was cut and moved forward a few inches then welded on again. This was done in such a way so that it could be easily reversed. No pics currently but I will post some when I get back. I had also planned to fit solid bracket bushes as the factory rubber ones are worn allowing a little movement in the bracket. I have a factory Toyota shifter which is included with the box. I do have a front prop shaft section but it has been modified to fit the IS200 so probably not much use to anyone here. I also bought a new Toyota slave cylinder when originally fitting the box so this will be included and also has around 3000 miles on it. Box with shifter and slave cylinder £2500 + delivery Centreforce dual friction centrifugal clutch and Competition Clutch Ultra lightweight flywheel . This clutch was bought new originally when doing the engine conversion and ran with a factory DMF. Not long before the old engine failed, the factory DMF failed so I replaced it with a brand new Competition Clutch Ultra lightweight solid flywheel. The clutch has around 3000miles and the flywheel probably less than 1000 miles. I did notice a few heat marks on the clutch pressure plate from memory so it probably wouldn't do any harm to have it skimmed lightly to clean it up. Otherwise they are in good operational condition. The clutch is rated for around 700hp or so and gives a slightly stiffer pedal feel than factory. It uses small weights built into the pressure plate which alter the clamping force of the clutch depending on how it is being used. Very very clever design!!! Pics up when I get them... Clutch and flywheel ... £650 + delivery There are loads of other parts but I will add these as and when I can. Thanks, Gav.
Rywalls
Hi Gav. Would you be able to sort me out with the full 6 speed conversion? Any idea how many miles the box has done it total? If you could pm me a price that would be great, I'm very interested.
gsportcars
I can certainly sort you out with a clutch and brake pedal and clutch master cyl from a Lexus IS200 but I have no idea if they would fit the supra. You can easily make up a clutch line. I can do the gearbox with shifter, clutch, flywheel, master cyl, pedals all in for £3000 plus delivery. Rywalls
That sounds spot on mate, any idea about the mileage on the box?
ashloys
Great prices for everything, should all sell quickly! Shame to see you breaking it though Gavin
and1c
Interested in the gearbox. Could you send me some pictures by pm and mileage etc? thanks
gsportcars
Honestly not sure on the mileage for the gearbox unfortunately. I can confirm that it has done around 3000 miles since 2006 which is very little. This is simply due to the car being either parked up or taken apart the majority of the time lol. I'll try and search through my old PMS on here for some more info. I'll also have to get pics when I get back home (on hols at the minute). Yeah Ashley, it took me quite a while to make the decision to break it. Quite annoyed at myself for not being able to build it again in the end. Hopefully be able to build something interesting in the future though.
