ripped_fear
So decided to give the garage a little bit of love. Plan was to get the tool box in there, triple the shelving, paint the wall, put a picture on the wall and lay a nice floor. This is how far I have got so far.... Still need to order the flooring, and don't worry the calenders are now on the other wall Before New shelving and paint End project as it stands
Andrew K
Nice job on the man cave started similar on my garage but only done the floor so far, I put a concrete sealer down first then used a light grey concrete paint to finish it off and keep the dust down. What you going for on the floor?

Andrew K
Thanks mate. Thought about paint, but thinking about a wood floor effect. Can do it all for around £100. Can I ask how much the decent paint is? The floor sealer I used was from Wickes and was £23:99 a can, had to use 2 cans. The colour floor paint was from Homebase, ronseal diamond hard garage floor paint and was £31:49 a can, found I had to use the best part of 3 cans. ripped_fear
Not to bad but think I will go with the wood effect. Plus reckon it will look fairly good. Fingers crossed.
Hitbox Junkie
what about cheap lino for the floor? Looks tidy though, and the sup looks all snug in there
ripped_fear
what about cheap lino for the floor? Looks tidy though, and the sup looks all snug in there That's what I am going for. Decided now. Can lino it for 70 - 100 so think its my best option. It is a snug fit don't have much room to play in there!
Richie_k83
Problem with Lino is that it's pretty soft and would tear pretty easily imo
ripped_fear
Will find out I guess. I don't do much work in the garage due to the size so will probably suffice for my needs. More doing it just to look nice.
Hitbox Junkie
A hard wearing lino will hold up surely, i would suspect any major operations to the car would be done out side the garage with more room? looks great though :)

KamaSupra
Nice work Jake It's so satisfying when you clean up and paint your garage for your Supra. Makes it look a lot better when looking back at your car as you close the garage door I tarted up my garage when I had my new Supra on it's way from Japan, helped a lot with the concrete dust problem too. It went from this- To this-
Shane
Screwfix do their own brand of floor paint, I used it before I put the Rolson rubber matts from halfords down. Good coverage and price and gets for reviews too, applied in minutes using a roller and broom handle.
MATT RR
Looking good! Im in the process of doing mine at the moment too and considering something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FACTORY-FLOOR-PAINT-EPOXY-RESIN-HB-LONG-LASTING-ULTRA-HARD-WEARING-6-colours-/301691479357?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item463e36a53d not sure how easy this will actually be though or wether its a good alternative to paint or not?
