Safety has improved in those 21 years, but as we all know Motorsport is dangerous. Marcus GTE Posted July 20, 2015 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Bit late to comment but I was sad to hear he lost his battle. His family must be exhausted from the whole traumatic episode. Hopefully they can now get some closure at the very least. That type of recovery vehicle should be modified to have crash barriers fitter round it at a height that protects the cars and drivers if it's ever to be used again.
