Wood mill blast in Macclesfield

I recall one at a mill where my late father in law's company was based, the results of the right (wrong....?) air / fuel ratio of fine wood or corn dust and air is pretty awesome. I think at least 2 died in it. Sounds like a bad `un has just happened in Cheshire:

Something has happened to your online "presence" recently Chris, before a couple of weeks ago, the little green light was NEVER illuminated beside your avatar when you were logged in, and your name NEVER appeared at the bottom of the homepage or thread page you are currently reading.

Just a heads-up.

Don't ask me how I know this!

Never even knew there was a little green light. Maybe it was when my subscription expired before my trader renewal?

I remember making flour bombs at school to demonstrate small particle combustion. I doubt good old `elf `n' safety would allow that these days :(

My half an ounce of nitrogen triiodide didn't go down well at school though, that was deemed a few steps beyond, and my purple fingers spoke of my guilt quite eloquently ;) A rather pitiful mix is detonated by vibration here, I managed to do far better than that :)
