Kendo11
Evening all. Am I right in thinking the upper window trims should sit flush with the body, and that this isn't some weird Toyota design? Possibly rust underneath? Are they pretty easy to remove? Cheers
Ric
they dont sit flush no, it's more of a rain channel, but maybe not as much of a gap as that They unbolt, from inside, underneath the seals. robtup
Fairly easy to remove pull the rubber seal away an there's a row of screws I never had any rust behind mine an not seen any with rust around the trim

SupraP-Z
Like Ric said, its definately the design bud. I replaced my window regulator mechanism not long ago and i thought i balls it up when i saw the trim sticking out...even though i didnt touch it lol. Checked the other side and thankfully it was the same haha. The most ive had is a bit of moss buildup underneath that area, nothing major a pressure washer couldnt fix

ripped_fear
Cool thanks mate. Odd design then, looks crap lol. Couldn't agree more I thought about getting a rubber seal to go in it to tidy it up, but its there for a reason and dont want to risk water sitting in there.
