Thomas.B
Hey! Just got my final parts to put my car pack together next week, just gonna drive it around an hour and then start with a service. What oil filter should i choose (and if possible, part number so i can order a bunch to have), car is 600whp and will mostly be a track car (and sunny day cruises). Is the lexus v8 one a better option over standard? Or some other brand maybe? cheers

stevie_b
I'd always go for a standard filter from Toyota on a standard-ish car. It sounds like you've got a lot more power than standard though, so not sure if that should affect the choice of filter.
Thomas.B
I have had several high powered cars and I most often use the factory oil filters. Been thinking of the Lexus one as it's slightly bigger. I don't really think the hks etc ones are any better and haven't really seen any tests that prove that they would be, so thats why I'm asking here if anyone has any info Does anyone have the part number to the lexus one? Steve
I have used the Lexus V8 one for years. I have the part number somewhere, I will dig it out tomorrow as I need to get one myself.

Big Mark
Drain Plug is 90430-12031. Unless it's been replaced with an updated one.
