alxns7 Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) The car is a stock EU spec TT I'm having idling issues with. It idles at 1000 RPM with some fluctuations. I cleaned the ICV which turned out to solve the problem perfectly (600-700 RPM). I was very happy because it was a pain to remove and install! BUT after a few km drive, the idle was back up to 1000 RPM When I reassembled it I added some silicon paste on the o-ring and metal gasket since I didn't have new ones. I did wait a bit for it to solidify but maybe not enough. Actually the whole silicon paste idea might be my issue now. Also, I did the check operation procedure from the manual, no fault found.
