wile e coyote
Hi guys and gals First of all Myself and Burna would like to thank you all for coming Without you things like this don't Happen Have started this for feed back so please comment on list below, Thanks 1: The venue, was it good enough and good location 2: The rooms, I know rooms are different sizes and its luck of the draw what you get (its not a premier inn where every room is exactly the same) 3: Food, would you prefer a sit down plated dinner ? cost would prob be more 4: Events etc., want rodeo bull again? different time etc. Disco or just music playing in back ground, Band ? Your input will be much appreciated Many thanks
Benjy
1. Venue - Spot on! Plenty of room. Lovely surroundings. Easy to find. Had no worries about the cars. Just a bloooody expensive bar! (that said - my bar tab was only £32 - so as long as they continue to forget to charge us - who cares!?) :D 2. Rooms - We were very happy with our room - The bed was like a massive marshmallow!! Jacuzzi bath was spot on. Air con was lovely. 3 - The food this time around was lovely. BBQ/Buffet's always a winner. Din't get no bloody puddin' though!! 4 - I didn't get a chance to have a go on the rodeo because he went home before I was drunk enough. I did tag Burna and Adi though in another inflatable ride that I thought would be the nuts!! Music wise, I didn't go into the disco bit, and felt a bit sorry for the DJ being in there largely on his own whenever I passed, so maybe background music might well suffice. Stick the DJ money behind the bar instead. Or on some PUDDING!! Joking aside, as always, you lot nailed it! Thanks to all that made it what it was! walkerstrider
1. Perfect venue, beautiful surroundings and secure for all the supras. Again just an expensive bar. 2. Room was perfect. Loved it. 3. The barbecue was very good and i think we should stick to it. Sit down meals i think would be too formal for this kind of event. 4. Thought the rodeo was pretty entertaining and gave everyone a good laugh, maybe just add another activitiy. I agree with benjy about the dj, back ground music and or a band would be better i think. I actually know a very good band who would play if i ask nicely and could prob get a good deal. Overall tho it was an awsome day, all credit to the organisers! Even the wife loved spending our first wedding anniversary drooling over beautiful cars!!
Big Mark
1: The venue: Lovely venue in a great location. Bar was pricey tho. 2: The rooms: Our room in the main building was really nice with a great big comfy bed. 3: Food: Definitely prefer the relaxed atmosphere of the bbq over anything formal 4: Events: Rodeo was fun to watch people have a go at, maybe add a second activity and lose the dj in favour of just some background music as the poor guy was playing to a mainly empty room. Overall the girlfriend and I had a great time, despite my car issues.....
ripped_fear
1: Personally thought the venue was brilliant, thought the building was stunning. Would happily return there! Wish I had got there earlier on the Saturday to look around the grounds properly. 2: Or room was very nice, some interesting wall paper! But very nice and clean and tidy, and a great size and incredibly comfortable bed. 3: Thought the food was great, nice quality and the breakfast was top notch. However I thought the veggie option was a little limiting even though Grace was still very happy with hers. Would be happy to do a bbq again but equally a sit down meal would be great too. One thing RE food too...... PUDDING! 4: Rodeo bull was fun even though I sucked big time lol! that or somthing similar would be great again (maybe the sumo wrestling things) Disco not my thing, and the music was very cheesy. Maybe music in the background would be better and the funds could be used elsewhere, however a good band would be great too. Overall the event was excellent and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, think It would be great if it could go a little more formal next time, maybe black tie Credit to all involved. gdog1989
1. Venue was great, anything similar to it would be ideal and parking wasn't bad either. 2. The room was a cupboard compared to watching burnas clip of cribs on Facebook ;-) but...that being said was still perfect for me had what I needed and the bed was so comfy I went out quickly. 3. The bbq was very nice and filling so again spot on. 4. Entertainment was good the bull was fun although as others said Dj is probably not needed, me and my brother did sit and watch the dragonball videos on the projector. On all of that overall was great and thank you, even down to the little bits like the shot glasses B-).

Pete
Myself and Burna would like to thank you all for coming You're welcome. 1: The venue, was it good enough and good location Location fantastic. Would like better weather on the Sunday next time please. The house had some amazing old details. Parts of the hotel felt a little tired for 4 stars, but all nice and clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely this morning. 2: The rooms, I know rooms are different sizes and its luck of the draw what you get (its not a premier inn where every room is exactly the same) We all paid the same, but rooms clearly varied. Ours was nothing like the pictures and the mattress was like lying on jelly, every time Vicki moved I wobbled. It was all OK and I've certainly paid similar and had worse. Realistically I spent little waking time in there and was out like a light. The surroundings made up for it. Although difficult to administer, perhaps scale the charges next time to make it feel fairer? I guess it would just need more shop items: Single or Double, Superior, Studio/Suites. 3: Food, would you prefer a sit down plated dinner ? cost would prob be more I like buffets. There was plenty to eat I think and it was good quality. I certainly wasn't left hungry. 4: Events etc., want rodeo bull again? different time etc. Disco or just music playing in back ground, Band ? Bull was fun. Dreadful shoulder pain for hours wasn't. It was good to have something like that as entertainment. Inflatable sumos, gladiator type things, bungee running - all good. Disco, nobody seemed interested, but it was good to have the music. Loved the shot glasses and welcome letter / banners - nice touch. Custom 'commemorative' lanyards with our avatar / name on would be cool to help people meet new faces more easily and avoid embarrassing "I know your face, but where from" moments. Speaking to the staff this morning they suggested there were no issues and they'd happily have us back again. I'm sorry I didn't help you this morning pack up, but Vicki really felt crap and just wanted me to get her home. Overall - thoroughly enjoyable. Al Massey
Thank you both for a great event A. Lovely place. Didn't really get a lot of time to go wandering around. So next time think I'll head down the Friday night. Or we could maybe make it a weekend event? 2. As Pete said, maybe the pricing needs looking at as some weren't happy paying the same price as a mansion but their rooms were a box. Me, I would of slept anywhere lol C. The BBQ was great, keep it simple again, but as said before, need puddings lol And a bake off is a great idea Mrs Benjy 4. The bull was great However young gymnasts are now banned from the bull at future events to give us old farts a chance Could do with a few more activities and games. Games are always fun. Felt bad for the DJ, but a band would be amazing. People would sit and watch/listen and dance Maybe have the band outside? The cinema was awesome, I never actually got a chance to go in it The bar was very expensive which is a shame. Suprakeith
Have to say massive for organising this was great event and me and the misses were made to feel very welcome for out 1st supra club event. 1. The venue was amazing, stunning building and grounds and the staff were brilliant. 2. The room we had was brilliant very comfy bed and the air con was nice touch. Liked the idea of lottery for the rooms as didn't really spend much time in room. 3. The food was great the BBQ was tasty and perfect for event. 4. I liked the entrainment the bull was nice idea, did feel sorry for the DJ, maybe idea just to have background music next time. The shot glasses were great touch and something to mark the event and really looking forward to meeting you all again and getting to know you all more. Top marks from me and the misses
Hitbox Junkie
1. The venue was great. as said before the bar was pricey. 2. Rooms was clean, simple and severed its purpose. 3. Food was top quality at least we enjoyed it , as for bbq or sit down meal not worried. 4. Rodeo bull would be great ( forgot to get on it when I went to have a go it was gone). I think music in the back ground would be a good idea. Could have a big out doors foam party or rave All in all was a great event and would be great to do it again next year. Homer
Many thanks Darren, Burna and all others involved in the event, I know there were a lot!! My wife and I really enjoyed it and are very much looking forward to it next year 1) The venue was absolutely great, a superb building and lots of space to visit. I would have no doubt a return to the location would be welcomed by the majority. 2) The room was excellent, we really didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I stay in a LOT of hotels and can say this was a good 4 star one. The price was spot on; at least half of what I would honestly expect for the room. We were in the main house on the 3rd floor. 3) Food was great but the wife says she would have preferred a bit more on the veggie side of things. Yes, it's a BBQ so is meat driven but a little more choice would be better, dessert would be a BIG bonus as several people have mentioned that - maybe even a bring your own for the keen ones That said, no complaint's about what was served! 4) Rodeo was fun though I couldn't partake. Perhaps another side event next time would be a better spend that the DJ. There are already some good ideas above but I would add Zorbing? As for other feedback: - Between 3pm and 7pm there were quite a few hungry people around. I know basic options were available from the bar, but perhaps some snacks/nibbles could be put out early on (nothing extravagant, just crisps, kids party food, that sort of thing). I think when everyone final ate at 7pm things died down a bit as everyone was so hungry and hit a bit of a brick wall after eating a large meal. - The bar costs were a bit on the expensive side so perhaps a better rate can be arranged (though I understand this is already on the next-time list!). Mitigating that, perhaps we can bring our own supplies next time, though I know we cannot charge due to licensing issues. - For the music, the DJ didn't add too much, it was great to have some background music, but it was very loud so everyone moved out of that area so they could still talk. Perhaps next time it can just be someone with a laptop and a (not-so) loud sound system that could put out some of the usual tunes A live band has been mentioned but in this circle of people I think it'd end up with a similar result to a DJ, people are there to meet, chat, catch-up and get merry, not be at a gig. Don't get me wrong please Darren, I'm not complaining, this is just the few small points that I think may be improved upon. There were so many more that you got absolutely right and I've hardly even started to mention them here Great job all and thanks!
Spunkmeyer
Feedback from us: Location great, central, suits the cars more than modern hotels would. Lovely. As said above now I know, I'll try to arrive early on the day or make it a two nighter.. Rooms - it seems we were lucky then as we had a big room so for us it is great value for money with breakfast. As suggested maybe a two tiered small room and big room rate. Breakfast was a little ropey but ok (I've stayed away quite a bit) wouldn't stop me having it again. May have been my hangover contributing though Food probs a little earlier as it did die off quickly after everyone had eaten. The bar was a little disappointing since the main bar had nicer beers on tap. But understand its an "events bar" thus run cheaper than a main hotel bar. I can't imagine the venue would agree on us bringing our own in? The bar is the main revenue stream and subsidises cheaper room deals. So can't see that Entertainment was fine. music would be enough. A band would be great but I fear mosty lost on people chatting rather than intently watching a band so would be a similar outcome to the DJ. Still it does need something like that. Activities more daytime would be good but the rodeo was fun to watch. I don't think the bar was too expensive in comparison to what it could have cost. but it is offsetting the cheaper room rate at a venue like this!! So we can't have it both ways unless you after a premier inn along side a dual carriageway tagged onto a harvester.. Very well organised event pitched just right for venue/costs I think. Well done Oh I know it's not car focused but a photo shoot opportunity would be nice perhaps with a semi pro hired to take a shot on a particularly nice spot in the grounds also. For a small fee. But good high res images for big framed pictures etc. I still have my 20th anniversary pic on show at home. With this venue it would be a shame not to Edited July 13, 2015 by Spunkmeyer (see edit history)
girth45
Location was very good Our room was small with only a shower , adequate but obviously a lot of discrepancy with room quality, although we all paid the same. Bbq was very good , but agree with others a dessert would have been nice. Bar very expensive !! Disco didn't really work , a live band would be a great idea. Didnt go in cinema room. didn't try the bull. We had a great time , maybe two nights would give more time to meet everyone. Thumbs up darren and burna. SupraSi2
First of all, thank you all once again for my first Supra event. Nice people makes up for all I'm about to say, but this is not a rant, just honest feedback which you might find useful? But thought it would be nice to contribute anyway, so I'm more involved. 1) historic venue and grounds was a nice idea for the cars. 2) i know its not about the cars, but parking together in a organised fashion would make a nice touch for photos 3) my room was a box, sub budget standards, had no air con, and sash window was shut tight, but i saw a cow 4) oh your shot glass was lovely, that will sit in my living room 5) i would have loved to get to know you all, but that would be ambitious, sorry for being quiet, thats just me, maybe an activity that involves everyone would be more interactive? 6) rodeo was fun to watch, maybe force everyone to have a ride 7) food was nice, no dessert though 8) bar was limited, but im no alcoholic 9) dj looked awkward, background music will be adequate me thinks 10) cinema was nice to see your adventures 11) your flags dotted around was a very nice special touch Please dont take offense i am just nit picking, i really dont care about all the above. It was just nice to meet so many friendly people and that made up for everything. So im happy. Thanks again. And see you soon in the next event! Supragal
rosie!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. I promise I'll bring cake to JAE. I got asked a few times on Saturday, so maybe next year I can sort something out too. It's just quite difficult to transport food that far, and bloody expensive making enough for that many people!
