scottybennoch
Hi all i was just after some advice My car is full bpu except for a front mount intercooler.. After a 40mile motorway drive i come onto a dual carriageway and a golf gti pulled off infront off me so i put my foot down and pulled into the outside lane exspecting to fly past him however i was only gaining very slowly! I know the gti was tuned but the main thing is the supra didnt feel as quick and i was just wondering if that could be down to it being a warm day and just been for a motorway drive and the lack of a front mount intercooler. Any help and information would be brilliant. Thanks
supra_ufo
your old inter cooler could be fudged, have you checked its condition? Take a photo and post it, if you have a stock front bumper you can see it from the driver side behind the front indicator...

Chris Wilson
Could be the VAG 2.0 turbo is a belting engine and responds to modifications like a duck to water, too.
mattdavies
Could be the VAG 2.0 turbo is a belting engine and responds to modifications like a duck to water, too. Some breathing mods, Hybrid turbo and a high pressure fuel pump and they are 360bhp !
berg
As above, being at gti festival and seeing them run very similar quarter mile times as bpu supras, they aint slow
