T2 MSW
I have wired up my separate fuel pump power feeds. Looking at configuring the second pump and I need to configure the pump on duty. What do people recommend as a percentage to enable the 2nd pump? Do you also need to configure the hysteresis or should that be left at 0%? fastcar
Might be best to give Ryan G a PM about this, he is the man who is likely to know:)
hodge
The 2nd pump is usually set up on a syvecs to turn on at 7 or 8psi.
Chris Wilson
If the turning on of a second pump results in an increase in rail pressure, then you need dual maps. Make sure the rail pressure does NOT change. I personally avoid dual staged pumps.
T2 MSW
The 2nd pump is usually set up on a syvecs to turn on at 7 or 8psi. So that would be about 20-25% duty? Only options you have now is % duty on for second pump?

Pressure is managed by the external FPR and Im assuming the syvecs manages/expected the transition of an additional pump coming on line. All big singles that I know off running Syvecs dual stage pumps in this way. I did some datalogging last night and did not see any spikes in FuelPressure and a minor blip into the low 11s on the AFR.
