The Hub I believe the pub's called. It was 8 or so years ago, the last time I was there. It did the best food and massive portions!! There's loads to do down there mate, just grab a leaflet from the hotel when you get there on tourist attractions bud.

The Maharajah (I think it's called. It's near Pizza Express) Indian restuarant is great. Overlooks the sea too.

EBO Adventure do all sorts from surf, to cimbing, coasteering, mountain biking, kayaking etc. I freelance for them from time to time (I am this sunday coming actually) and they are a great company. They are based in Penhale.

In Newquay itself there isn't much to do bar rent a board and go for a surf.

Go bowling in the Hotel California.

Or keep driving until you get to St. Ives. You might make it before the emmits invade the beaches. Better surfing too.

The Eden Project isn't a million miles from Newquay. Just don't go on a really hot day. The place is basically a giant sun trap. Good breakfasts there though.

We spent a week in Porth (Newquay) last year (off to Polperro this year) - go to the Hub (as mentioned) - good food and healthy portions.

Also spend some time at Lusty Glaze Beach - great beach and great waves and use Waverunner Safaris to go jet skiing or take a trip out to see the dolphins.
