jimmy_supra
I've seen this on eBay. It is from America, is it complete garbage or would it be any good? Item number below for eBay. 200851987994
a98pmalcolm
Its not going to be great bud. With a replica HKS BOV, unbranded FPR and a TURBONETICS TURBO CHARGER not turbotechnics, they rhyme.. but not the same lol. Personally I wouldn't lol
jimmy_supra
Pretty much what I thought. Thinking of going single. Not looking for massive power. I've not got a massive budget either.
Chris Bailey
If you haven't got a massive budget I wouldn't be looking at going single. Its not cheap! If you are working on a budget I'd be looking to source GOOD QUALITY second hand parts. I know a few guys who have gone single on a budget (around £3k) all using well sourced parts which have been picked up on the forum. Dont rush into buying cheap Ebay parts just because of the appealing price. If it looks to good to be true, it probably is. As the saying goes......buy cheap, buy twice. jimmy_supra
Looks like my stock twins are stuffed so looking at options. I've got some second hand twins but no sure weather it's worth putting them on.
RobUK
Send the 2nd set to get refurbed and put them on.... Cost about £1400 plus the labour for swapping but it will be much much cheaper than any single build
jimmy_supra
I've seen the ones from Whifbitz so thinking about them. Any one had any?
RobUK
Doesn't include alot of stuff like ECU etc... Ecu could be anything from £500-£2000 depending on what you need/want

Guest pgill40
My brother has a set of twins for sale, just been fully refurbed at Midland Turbos, Nottingham. Practically brand new! £790. Here is the link on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261943181730?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Gaz6002
Moved out of tech as not a technical question. Also, posting a link would be helpful!
jimmy_supra
Moved out of tech as not a technical question. Also, posting a link would be helpful! Apologies Gaz my phone wouldn't copy the link so just added the item number. Why is he selling them after being refurbished and what is the casing like as the wastegate is prone to cracking on the first turbo?
Guest pgill40
We took them off his car and replaced them with a second hand pair which turned out to have a blown seal so sent the originals off to be refurbed then fitted those then sent the 2nd pair for refurb which are now spare. Proper rigmarole as I had to change the twins twice which is a right pain! The casing is mint. No problems.
