millar11
Evening all, Went to adjust my seat earlier and it isn't moving? Seems likes it's jammed? Is the motor goosed? I have another seat in garage, can I replace it with that or is motor etc separate from seat? Any info would be great. Thanks.
Supraleeturbo
I had the same problem and a white plastic bung needed screwing back in, pain in the ass job to do
Jezz
As above, if you look on the floor on the left side toward the front of the seat, you might find the white bung has fallen out. It's basically the size of a 5p coin, 5mm thick, threaded with a cross head on one end. You can hold it in place with your finger to move the seat, but you'll have to nip the seat out to screw it back in properly.

millar11
Well I had a look and iv found exactly wot you guys were describing. Can't see where it locates into but how does that stop the seat working? Will get seat out tomorrow hopefully and get it sorted. Cheers again! T14PPA
Could this also be the problem if only the right side of the seat moves ?
Jezz
It holds a gear in place, you can see the end you screw in is hollow, it acts as a spacer/bearing, as you screw it in it pushes into a spindle and holds it in the correct position. Make sure you put a dab of grease in the hole, then just hold it in place so you can move the seat enough to take it out and screw it in properly. Yes this is why the left side is jammed and the right side moves a little. [emoji106]
