JackyBoi
He's just spent over £300 having his steering rack and sub frame sorted out, only to then be left with this. His engine sounds like it's misfiring on revs, and also a hell of a lot of white smoke from exhaust. See the video: https://vimeo.com/132317509 Any help at all would be hugely appreciated. If it helps the HT leads have been replaced recently. Thanks guys!
stevie_b
White smoke is often water (or coolant). Is the engine oil and coolant clean? No mayonnaise?
Benjy
Coil pack or something sinister I suspect. How much smoke?
JackyBoi
White smoke is often water (or coolant). Is the engine oil and coolant clean? No mayonnaise? Will check the coolant now. Engine oil is clean as it is changed very regularly and always comes out clean! Coil pack or something sinister I suspect. How much smoke? Quite a lot of smoke. There's more when revved
JackyBoi
Problem found: Spark plug filled with oil when the HT lead was removed. We think it might be a cam seal which he isn't pleased about! Thanks for the help guys
David P
Looks more like a poor effort refilling the oil?
