ripped_fear
Hi guys I'm scrapping my 1st de-cat and OEM manifold in favour of a tubular manifold. So I have a OBX manifold ready to go on however they take different O2 sensors to the OEM ones. In the manifold I have purchased it looks as though one has snapped of in the manifold itself, and there is two OEM plugs linked to one sensor which looks to be still intact? :S Anyone care to shed any light as to why there would be two plugs on one sensor, and what 02 sensors should I be buying to replace the snapped one and the one still installed? Some picture can be seen encase I'm not making sense. Manifold Cracked o2 Two plugs coming from one sensor
Noz
I'd say they snapped one sensor, so split it to two plugs so they can run one sensor for two outputs. I run split lead for one sensor for two outputs on my NA-t setup. That's just a quick fix for them, as they couldn't be asked to fix the snapped unit. David P
That manifold has changed hands so many times I think it has now done more miles in the post than it has on a Supra. Never fear it's the manifold to have. Look at the intact sensor and see if any ID, I think they are Bosch sensors. Chris Wilson will name them in one. Two into one is a bodge repair for the broken one.
ripped_fear
Ah ok thought as much. looking at the state of the broken one I would have thought I would have been blowing. And advise as to what type of sensor I need to purchase to replace them? Also any advice to get the broken one out?

David P
I think those single wire screw in O2 sensors are same except the plug on the end of the wire?, if so here's a budget way out if you can wait. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Single-1-Wire-O2-Oxygen-Sensor-Holden-Nissan-Ford-Suzuki-BMW-AUDI-/120965467539?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item1c2a1a8d93 Chris will know the Bosch number and may even have stock?
