Durandal Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Is it normal to have around 23 mA current draw through the AM1 fuse with key off and all doors closed? The wiring diagram seems to show that this fuse powers the key switch ACC, IGN, and ST positions, but I would think there should be 0 mA draw while in off position or am I wrong on this? kjgreen3 Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Sorry can't help you with that as I have no experience of turbo timers. Do you really need one? Can you not just let the car idle for a minute or two before switching off. The other option is to find the manufacturers instructions and ring their technical helpline, find out if the permanent live can be routed through the ignition with no detriment to the timer. It was already installed when I bought the car so figured I would just keep it, but if it is going to drain my battery after a couple of weeks of no driving then I'm probably better off using myself as the turbo timer like you said.
