Number plate in air intake- intercooler. ?

Hi Guys, I am shortly having the na/t conversion and i realise the inter-cooler is located in the air intake aperture, ( the sharks mouth), i have always had a stainless steel mesh in the aperture and the number plate, there have never been any engine running temp issues, in traffic jams , high speed etc, MY question is will the inter-cooler operate ok ? I do not see why not, but where it is easy to see what is happening with the engine temp i cannot see how one can see if the inter-cooler with the same grille and number plate fitted will perform.? Any comments will be appreciated. I put the number plate in the aperture as it looks better IMHO and is more aero- dynamic. herbiemercman.

Thankyou guys, as usual got the answer i thought i would get, just did not want dr jekyll to have to tell me when i deliver my car for the conversion. I just wondered if the engine cooling is ok then would the inter-cooler be ok. Tony TT, your car looks great, where do you source the uk number plate and mounting.? herbiemercman.
