Delboy52
I wondered where the oil was leaking from and I've found where it has collected. I believe it's engine oil from when a hose popped off during a test fit and the rad got a soaking. The lower tray looks to me to be part of the NA Auto radiator as lifting the rad brings the tray along with it. Any suggestions how to drain it out? David P
Your first drive will blast that out of there and give your front suspension joints a free oiling.
David P
Or stick a bit of that blue cloth into it and leave to sop it up, there's not much there. On the positive side, the oil will have done both the radiator and support panel a great favour. Delboy52
Well it's already had a light drive to the mot station and back but it's still brimming. Leaves an oily mess on the floor so I'd prefer to drain it if I can. Also to make sure it is just from the hose spraying it and not something else. David P
Sop it up whilst it's standing about and fit a Soarer oil filter mount, no more worries. Edited June 25, 2015 by David P (see edit history)
Delboy52
Might try sucking on a rubber pipe first, then using blue towels. It's properly bathing in that tray. Will get the mount on when I have a filter and filter removal tool. Cheers
safcdixon
Just jet wash it outa there, then jet your drive when you are finished
