binfieldx
It looks as if maybe my insider rear arches have been cut away and re welded, I can see there's some kind of sealant over them and then they've been primer sprayed across in black (you can see the streak of black paint across the white in the picture below), does anyone know why they might have cut away at these inner arches? I'm assuming its to do with when they cut away and welded the wide body arches to the outside but can't understand why they would do the inside? It can't be to do with rust as there isn't a spot of rust anywhere on the car!
cushti
Guessing but could it be to fit a wider wheel/tyre combo inside the arch itself?
binfieldx
My thoughts exactly. The rears currently are 10.5j which is already pretty wide but I'll assume if the inside arches have also been widened maybe in the past it had much bigger wheels on it? cushti
Maybe a drag car in a previous life, where's it from US, UK or Japan? They do it a lot in the US putting huge wheels inside slammed low riders with the wheels tucked up inside the arches
binfieldx
It's from japan built by a tuner company so quite potentially it sounds like it may have been setup for track as it's got race pads + race clutch + SARD attack meter
