Richie_k83
So the other day i was browsing the Speedhunters page as you do. Stumbled accross this; Scarbo Performance SVF1 Around 500hp and just over half a ton in weight [sHOCK][/sHOCK] I used to hate the idea of open wheeled cars. However, I am slowly being converted sinse watching a few F3 races on TV, then the Rush movie the other night and now this... I think this is down as first purchase upon my lottery win. When & if it ever happens....... http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/06/the-1960s-f1-car-remastered/
pedrosixfour
The throw on the gearstick is ludicrous, the driver needs to move out of the way to pull the stick towards him, then nearly needs to reach behind him to grab it again! Also, I didn't think open wheelers were allowed at your average track day? Something about the drivers dying constantly due to the proximity of tin tops with drivers oblivious to Jackie Stewart wanna-dies, blitzing by barely 2" off the ground. I think maybe sacking the stick for paddles could be a way to save your wrist lol It would be fine at our local sprint track as we run single car laps. Not sure about running in the pack on a circuit. Even if it was allowed, i would be pretty pissed if i had a wheel ripped off by another driver (Given the state of some track driving i have seen lately, it wouldnt take long!!) grahamc
Love the idea of the car, always have! Would most definitely take one of those over an Atom\XBow\BAC mono, etc..... especially if it has a lovely noise! Just 500hp from 0.5 of a ton, hmmmm, with me, thats an accident waiting to happen. Same here... Power wise, they offer them as a rolling chassis so you could fit anything in there within reason The noise from the Video is awesome
