j_jza80
Many won't know him by name, but you will by his work. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-33235271 One of the best film composers of all time, his work includes Titanic, Avatar, Die Hard, Star Trek and many more. For me his best work will always be the amazing soundtrlack to the film Aliens. RIP.
pedrosixfour
Don't understand why a ballistic recovery system, or similar, isn't mandatory on all small aircraft at this stage.

Westcoaster
Very sad news, his back catalogue of work is immense, with Braveheart, The Perfect Storm and Apollo 13 being my particular favourites. For me, film score composers are the Classical composers of our time.
Big Supes
Sad times, indeed. He wasn't my favourite composer, but still a great loss. R.I.P.

Quite a bit of my music selection is film soundtracks, some of it makes for great driving music. Video games are included too, the theme to The Legend of Zelda took a pretty high spot in the classic FM top 100 this year.
Big Supes
Absolutely love musical scores. From 'back in the day' playing on my Amiga 500 to present. John Williams Superman theme to Hans Zimmer - Time.

John Williams Superman theme to Hans Zimmer - Time. Hans Zimmer is another legend. His work on the Nolan Batman Trilogy made those films IMO. The Track 'Molosuss' on the Batman begins soundtrack is an especially good driving song.
Big Supes
He is a musical genius. A little too synthetic for purists, but that can sometimes be down to the practicalities of having an orchestra to hand. I honestly wouldn't know where to start with his resume. He's so diverse, but always succeeds in resonating the moment so well. Another favourite is Mark Isham. Will check out the Batman Begins track. When I get a moment, I'll share my Youtube playlist.
