Help on wheels Brembo/UK brakes for Nissan 350z

Hi all,

If someone could give me some advice on the following to help a potential sale.

I'm selling my 19" Antera wheels. They're on eBay atm http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-Antera-Alloy-Wheels-5x114-3-Supra-Skyline-NSX-GOODYEAR-EAGLE-F1-Tyres-JAP-/321785379344?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT#ht_338wt_1140. I have a Chap who's not sure if his 350z needs adaptors, as his 350 has bigger brakes (Brembos) and with the wheels being 5x114.3 PCD fitment and with mine being a UK spec the Anteras cleared without the need of spacers/adaptors.

And so Is there any need for the prospective buyer to buy spacers to clear brakes as I would of thought the Supra big brakes and Brembos would be similar?

Since they're 19's I'd imagine they'll clear the brakes around the outside without much hassle. The problem you might run into is the face of the calipers catching against the spokes of the wheel once you mount them.

It's all going to be down to the offsets of the wheels and whether or not they will look the part on the 350. They could look fine on a Supra but sit miles inside or outside the arch of the 350, every car is different. Saying that they may be close to the same, I've no idea really.

I'd ask the 350z guy to take a rough measurement of the width of his brembo caliper from the hub or something like that and see how it compares to the UK's. That'll at least give you a rough idea as I don't see it being a problem radius wise, only width of calipers.

Hopefully someone with experience in this can chip in as I'm kind of working on guess work here :D

If they are standard offset for the supra I don't think they will clear the faces of the calliper. I had this issue with my brothers 350 as the brembo face has two buldges on it and its hard to get anything at higher than at 30+ offset to fit.

As has been said get the guy to measure from the hub to the face and then you can check it on the wheels.
