Chris Wilson
Let's say you have won the lottery. You have many millions to invest, so you find a great advisor. You get to like the business side of life, and start to take an interest in attending the board meetings of your new companies. The Supra won't cut it, you can hear the sniggering and the newly acquired arm candy is far from impressed, single turbo, Syvecs and body kit or not. It's just not cutting the mustard any more. You need a new motor, one with gravitas and panache, something in tune with your new status and wealth, something big, something black, something to sit in the back of and smoke the Havana cigars and slurp the brandy.. You clandestinely scan the car ads, not the bargain sections, not the sports sections, but the prestige sections. But nothing grabs your attention until one day, in the specialist dealers section you see this beast. "Blimey, that's just the ticket, every dictator, head of state and Mr. Big has owned one of those...". A snip at £300,000 and a sure investment to boot! A win win situation, even the accountant will applaud. You toddle off, Platinum card in hand, wearing a suitably shiny suit, expensive brogues, and a smug grin. What a machine, imagine tipping up at the office in this thing, suitable be-shaded and be-hatted chauffeur at the wheel! Awesome, this is a RICH guy's car!! But wait, who the hell is this previous owner with a dodgy sounding name, whose moniker is emblazoned in the log book, under some Imperial looking stamp? Not wanting to show your ignorance, but with a yen to see if he's a Mr. Cool, you go to the dealer's expensively fragrant gents and Google him on your new phone. "Hell, he's not a very nice chap, is he???". What if the neighbours find out? What if the valeter finds someone's head or worse in the wine cooler? Hmmm, a moral dilemma... What to do?? What to do??? Would you buy a used car with a rather unique last owner? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-B%C3%A9del_Bokassa http://www.pistonheads.com/regulars/ph-spottedykywt/mercedes-600-pullman-grosser-spotted/32390
T2 MSW
HaHa Epic, However there are some flaws in your logic. Namely that having said millions you wouldn't be searching piston heads yourself you would have someone do it for you, be far to busy working out how to make more millions

Dnk
Not my cuppa tea no matter who owned it before, i'd have to be getting into something a lot more up to date like a Phantom It wouldn't bother me as long as they weren't some gay freak, dictators etc no problem

Even if you brought brand new if the sales guy or girl is rude and etc I would walk off and it applies to second hand cars.
Chris Wilson
Eating a few enemies and butchering school kids because they don't buy their uniforms from your wife's factory is perhaps a step or two beyond rude, so definitely not the car for you then Those African despots were certainly in a class of their own, I'll give `em that!
