Rob_Mitchell
Thanks guys. Yeah it's been a absolute pain in the backside but with a bit of time and not rushing it's looking better than expected.
Rob_Mitchell
Productive morning. Dropped the coilovers to make the smoothing of the turret tops easy. Gone perfectly. Next is to get the bay in full thick primer next week and go from there if any more work needs doing before we order the paint up.
j_jza80
Great work. What's the bracket for on the drivers side strut top?
Rob_Mitchell
Brake stopper mate, thought I would weld it on properly.

Rob_Mitchell
Gave the bay another once over and a real decent degrease/panel wipe down, before spraying some generous coats of primer. We will leave this a few days now before attending to any imperfections (if any). Hopefully get some colour ordered up by the end of the week. Rob_Mitchell
Thanks guys. I wouldn't go as far as it being art lol but my OCD definitely has the better of me on this build already. It's always nice looking at something and working on something that's clean and dirt free. I think the track days will be a obstacle though

Rob_Mitchell
UK spec front seats. I won't be attempting them though I'll get the trimmers to do that
Rob_Mitchell
The intake manifold runners have been smoothed, mirror polished and i then sent them to be nickel plated. I got them back from the chromers this morning and i began to do the work i love. Gold plating!!.. on this build im using 18ct pure rose gold. its a bit more expensive compared the 24ct gold but the colour is more subtle and has a almost peachy/ copper look to it. well i got the runners finished and laid it next to the manifold. I think it works nice. hope you guys like.
