Still focusing on the inside of the supra and trying to get it as perfect as I possibly can. I have been recently searching and advertising for the big stereo dash panel in 'oem condition' but nothing has been around in suitable condition to fit into the supra. With all the other panel in mint oem condition I thought I would try and paint the one i had.

I used autotek Matt paint and I was amazed by the results! It's almost a identical match.. I took a pic of it next to the speedo panel. Ok it's not 'rubberised' but it's now mint and matches the other panels perfectly. Just need a digital clock if anyone has one?

My mrs is working late so decided to get in the loft and do some more glueing and hair pulling. Finished the centre box just undecided whether to get a carbon lid or do a leather lid to match... I'm swaying to carbon. Got a little section on the dash done. Slowly getting it done.

Looking good Rob

Only thing I would say is the carbon panel by the gear shift just kind of looks "plonked" there. I'm not feeling it. Just my opinion of course, but it might look better to me when it's all together.

Cheers mate. I can see why people think that but it was on the car when I got it and I want to keep some things as they was. I like it which is the main thing and once more carbon is added you will understand why I kept it.

Well our panel beater was busy this afternoon bashing the metal and getting it almost perfect so very little filler is needed. Managed to get the nearside suspension turret fully smoothed and finished. Going to drop the temporary coilovers out so we can smooth the tops. We welded some washers at the top to prevent any cracking once the new suspension is bolted up properly with the rings fitted.

Well after 3 days we have almost complete the nearside of the engine bay. We are leaving the tops till majority of work is done then we can jack the front up and drop out the old temporary coilovers and do both tops at the same time.

Very slowly getting it done and its going to look sweet all smoothed.
