DAW build - Dressed to kill- full carbon wide body

Recommended Posts

Yours and Hodges were the two that always had my attention as even though they had the power, they were about styling. Two engine bays that really stood out.

Think John should start over too, we need more big builds.

Lol I think he should too. Got a few styling mods planned for this engine bay which I'm excited about.

Well pretty productive day today. Got a lot of the loom tidied up under the dash. Clear coated the carbon steering wheel cover and speaker covers again as I wasn't happy too much.

Also Stevo the genius skinner got some dash vents finished. These will look nice against the tan leather and keep with the theme for the inside and body of the car.

Went on a little road trip last night to get a few things off a UK spec. Managed to pull the fuse box/ auxiliary loom out the car as mine looks a bit cut about. Got some mint condition dash panels and manual surround. I decided to buy the front seats "just" because the plastic trims are cream, I'll get the seats re trimmed in tan and cream. Want to try and keep with the UK spec theme as best as I can. Also grabbed the UK spec speedo too

Been a long couple of evenings but finally started to tackle the dash in the tan leather. Main objective tonight is to get the stitch running nicely along the edge, I'll try finish the rest over the next few evenings. Just taking our time and getting it as smooth as possible with the rollers/heat.

Decided to scrap the cream arm rests and keep them black and this will also stop there from being cream in the seats now. I just thought about the dirt ect and keeping the cream clean. Looks much better with black.
