On my drivers side panel were the door hinge bolts to has 2 cracks causing clicking and rattling sounds. On top of that it can only get worse and I'm looking for some ideas for a fix. I have some pics below. Yes its the part on the pillar with the Door open sensor on it... thats a strange thing to happen I would imagine that would need cleaning and welding but it will make a mess which will need respraying again.. evinX Posted June 17, 2015 Share Posted June 17, 2015 Its probably happened over time, that's the door striker isn't it? takes a lot of battering so I imagine the shock going through that metal over all the years has caused it.
