bayside_supra
Hi everyone Might seem like a silly question but I have just ordered some h&r 25mm spacers. When fitting these would I torque all the bolts up to 103 NM the same as the normal wheel bolts or do them up tighter? Never had spacers before so I definitely don't want any problems with these. pedrosixfour
Same as normal wheel nuts. I'd re-check them after a week too.
bayside_supra
Thanks, so I should take the wheels off to check the bolts on the spacers after a week then check the wheel bolts the week after????
binfieldx
Take the wheel off after a week and check spacer bolts are still tight, if ok put the wheel back on and check periodically depending how often you drive. It's not much different to having your wheel on normally just more fail points. If they are still tight after a week I personally wouldn't worry about them, as long as they are hubcentric. Also a good thing to do is keep an eye on your tyre wear, especially the rears. Sometimes spacers can throw tracking out so they need to be re-tracked. 25mm is quite a gap and they slightly changed my tyre wear on the mr2 but not enough to worry about, just something to keep an eye on.
