Two-Two
Hi My front seats and gear selector are looking their age. Leather is cracked and white bits are showing through through from the uncoloured leather beneath in some places. The seats are the stock black colour. What tips does anyone have to restore them to their former glory? There are many leather cleaners on the market but what I also want is to restore the colour to the worn bits. Is shoe polish too obvious a solution? Thanks

Stonkin
Your best bet would be to search for a professional leather colliniser in your area. I use a very good guy but unfortunately he wont travel to Scotland

Imo a set of new covers would do it. And for the gear selector id get a new nice matt black one from Toyota...they do look nice new
Two-Two
Hi Thanks for the advice guys. The damage to the leather is not that severe (hindsight-a couple of photos would have been useful!) so I will try some dye to repair it. Cheers
peter richards
the cracks are still going to be there , leather guys normally flat them back smooth prime and recolour , as a quick fix you could try a black permanent marker pen ,at least it will be neater . have a word with keron see if he has any .proper repair will be expensive so id look at a different route
