Scott-tt
Auto trader one says 2003 that's not X reg if I remember This will mean it's a 2000 X reg but imported in 2003 ie 03/X, a bit confusing but a lot of imports are advertised like that
tooquicktostop
When the US market becomes available for my car I think it will be worth a small fortune, I can see it appreciating in the UK market also in the coming years if I keep it as it came out of GTS
Big Supes
There's no doubt Supra prices are on the rise. I have zero intention of selling mine, but if it was up for sale, I wouldn't let it go for any less than 13k. I'm glad I jumped back into the Supra scene when I did. rider
The only thing I would say is if these high priced ones are genuinely dent free and have great paint, . I'd much rather have original 20 year old paint still sticking to the car and looking OK than a shiny new respray hiding god only knows. Just a personal choice I guess. masterfett
Depends who sprays it .. Won't find many 20 year old cars that hav actually been driven regularly and have concourse paint.. And we all know not driving a car is detrimental to all sorts of things.

chazuk
I'd much rather have original 20 year old paint still sticking to the car and looking OK than a shiny new respray hiding god only knows. Just a personal choice I guess. Go to the right body shop 20 year old paint is well..looking 20 years old , most have had touch up's over the years which is to be expected with stone chips etc and most bumpers do not match especially the red's and the slivers then you have a patchwork paint job. Baldy re-sprayed mine and I have never looked back no cover up's he took 200pictures including before middle and after I could not recommended him enough. Scooter
I'd much rather have original 20 year old paint still sticking to the car and looking OK than a shiny new respray hiding god only knows. Just a personal choice I guess. To be honest I was talking about great original paint when I made this comment, there are still some out there, some stone chips etc yes but otherwise very good 20 year old paint. I agree brand new fresh paint has to be treated with some caution as more so than any other work the quality of body work repairs is paramount. Baldy has a great reputation and I remember his own green supra respray and the quality result so I'd be happy if a car had been done by him as no corners will have been cut. As with all these old cars now it's going to be a mix of compromises when buying one, all you can do is pick the one you like with the bits you feel you can tackle personally or are happy to pay someone else to bring it up to a standard you are happy with, or keep searching!
