drift_bear
Good to see some progress Alex! Fingers crossed everything is plain sailing now mate It should be chris, hopefully get it fired up tomorrow and then just wait for a new drive shaft to arrive! My drivers one is "missing" just like my keys!
T2 MSW
Wow that is seriously sloppy work. I can believe that someone would put a gearbox back in a car and not even bolt it up. Hopefully its in good hands now Alex

T2 MSW
fingers crossed for you. Hope it all goes well. Whats the latest on that old engine as from the pics there did not appear to be too much damage if any at all. Could you get that rebuilt and recoup a little money on it? There's nothing at all wrong with it, going up try sell it as it is, or a package deal with the car

What was the actual issue poor compression or failed leak down?? I know someone that could be interested for the right price thats all

drift_bear
Well it's been a long time coming, but finally the GTR is home
Hammer
A great looking driveway Alex. Shame the GTR has been such a pain as it's a great looking car. Is that a nasty 'ding' on the wing of the Supe? Glad it's all back up and running, I suppose it will now be a bit of a wrench selling it on, or are you going to keep it to play in the winter weather and sell in the spring

Glad it's all back up and running, I suppose it will now be a bit of a wrench selling it on, or are you going to keep it to play in the winter weather and sell in the spring Hey Adam, yeah the ding has been there on the supra since before i picked it up, happened in the other owners hands before I bought it back. Got new wings in the body shop though, just having 2nd thought on a full colour change. I'm ideally needing to sell it though, can't justify having both and not use them, I barely use the supra as it is lol. If I can find a away to justify keeping them both then I will tbh, I'm no rush to sell and it won't be getting listed for sale until after winter. I have my winter beater to use and abuse in the winter/daily commute, so both the other cars are safe and well away from grit and salt lol
