LOGIE
For my supra I always use toyotas own 4life red stuff. I went into a autoshop for some for my daily the other day and the guy asks "do you want red, green, pink,"? I think there was even more colours that I can't remember. My question is what's the difference? Any to be avoided? Cheers.
ChrisH
You need to use the older stuff they used to call 4life, they told me not to use the latest stuff, although I cant remember which colour is which Alternatively use Halfords OAT which is pink
Dnk
You need to use an Ethylene glycol antifreeze in a mkiv, colour means nothing from what i've read about it

Dnk
Sorry mate the Ethylene glycol based is for a mkiv supra so best check on the Volvo, just dont go by colour as that means nothing
DT125
I heard the water turns to sludge if you mix the colors .
supra900bhp
Also if you mix been told some don't like it as corrodes inside of engine but don't know how true it is?? But if drained and refilled with new antifreeze then sure that be fine as that's all I do and had no probs Eurocarparts said there blue lasts 2 years and red was 5 years
