Welcome Back (Sexist)

I know this isn't the most PC thing to say but it's true.... ;)

So the schools have gone back which now means the mothers are back at

work.... the roads are busy, the standard of driving has gone down.

I did a little study this morning - 99% of the drivers that annoyed me

were small female types in cars that were massive. The usual story where

their seat is so far forward that they can't possibly have full control

of the car.

I also witnessed 2 putting makeup on and one plucking her eyebrows.

Welcome back ladies, the roads have been quiet without you.

*sigh*

Ooh the thing that annoys me most is people sitting really close to the wheel!!!! I sit pretty close (so my legs are crushed) but the seat is back so my arms are stretched to touch the top of the wheel.

Didn't notice too many on the roads this morning but I leave pretty early, I'll see what home time is like!

I have to leave half an hour earlier to get to work 'kind of' on time...

What happened to kids walking to school and being embarrassed if their parents dropped them off...? no wonder all the kids are overweight these days...

We should have an American style 'school bus' system over here and sweep all the little buggers in one swoop... save on road usage, congestion, the planet..

There are plans afoot to do just this starting in more built up areas of course, then rolling out further. Not sure where - it was on the news a few months ago.

What annoys me is how, if you try to leave plenty of room between you and the car infront, some clown tries to nip into the space.

Also, what gives the drivers of SUV's and 4x4's the right to drive as fast as they like regardless of the conditions and limits? Scum.

Guest The Flash

I moved into a new place right at the start of the Summer Hols.... lovely little place in a quiet road.......

Feck me - it only turns out to be the main parking area for a school a few roads away :thumbdown I swear some of the kids in my road are being driven there as well - if it is more than 500 Yds I would be amazed.

Came out to go to work the other day, at the same time a a (rather nice) Mum was parking accross my drive

Know exactly what your saying.

I have to leave at least 45 mins earlier in a morning to get to work at the same time as when the kids were out of school.

And yep, the majority of the problem is little women in big cars thinking they have right of way over all else.

Why are they so pushy and get so militant when you don't let them have their own way.

It is amazing just how big a Supe can be on the road!

I really don't have a problem with the ladies that are polite, make eye contact and thank me, they can have as much road as they need as far as I'm concerned and I will let them out with a smile.

But, the pushy rude ones can kiss my ....!

Has any one else found that the main abusers drive one of two makes of cars - Merc and BMW - or is it just me?

M.
