Paul-90
Did a search there but couldnt find anything. How hard is it to fully remove air con from a NA-t? Can a smaller belt be got and then just remove the pump completely?
Paul-90
Right just googled it there. Saying all i need is a shorter fan belt once the belt is removed. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAYCO-Poly-V-Ribbed-Belt-6-Ribs-1865mm-6PK1865-Auxiliary-Fan-Drive-Alternator-/361178682087?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5417ed52e7 Is this the right belt before i order it? Shane
You will also need to either remove the front plate from the AC compressor to support the PS pump, or make a bracket up to do the job. If you don't, you risk wrecking your block. The AC compressor also provides vital support to the PS pump. Here you are:http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?320520-Air-con-delete-bracket&highlight=power+steering Edited June 2, 2015 by Shane (see edit history)
Swampy442
Yeah as above, take the AC pump apart and use the mounting bracket from it.
