Refurbing Facelift headlight internals.

Hey guys

Does anyone do this service? I've seen that a guy in Scotland called Scott does them but as it's my daily I'd need the lights to be sent to me then I'd send mine back.

I would attempt it myself as the lenses could with a refurb too. But my skill level and general Newby feel of the job I would worry about cocking it up whe put in the oven!

The lights are OK.. I've just lost some chrome off both sides rings.

I believe Scott is the only person who does this mate. Even if someone else did do it, you'd be stuck in the same scenario of not having a set while yours were away wouldn't you?

What about trying to pick up a cheap set somewhere and run them for the few days? You can then sell on once you're finished with them

This. And then have a go at doing the lights yourself. It's all about the knowledge. There are plenty of tutorials about taking your lights apart. It is a pretty daunting thing but unless you forget your lights are in the oven or they're touching something in there you should be OK, just set a weekend aside and don't try and rush it.

Plenty more satisfaction from doing something yourself than paying someone else to do it.
