NA auto, Low oil pressure warning in any shifter position but one, OK in reverse

Hello guys,

 

I have a Japanese import '93 Supra NA auto which I am trying to get in shape. There are a couple of electrical problems one of which is that the Low oil pressure warning light together with the Master warning light are ON when the shifter is in any position other than R.

 

The engine runs OK and the gears shift nicely. The gearbox was replaced by the previous owner.

 

Other problems are the Malfunction indicator lighting up and error code 42 stored when the engine is under load for several seconds (not solvable by redoing the solder points in the odometer module or the pink-to-red/blue wire trick), non-functional back wiper and front washers.

Have you checked the auto box fluid level while the engine is running?

You mean the engine oil pressure warning light???
