tkddav3
Wow! Do they come with centre caps?
C12MMO
Can I permanently borrow these just to see what they look like on mine? Very nice choice!
GlennK
They look fantastic! What are the specs and are you running stock arches/suspension? 11.5J x18 - and I have modified suspension and rolled arches. So plenty of room for 315s for the rears. GlennK
Wow! Do they come with centre caps? Yes they do have centre caps - but they are plain brushed aluminium with black plastic inserts:rolleyes: I did ask John at CCW about getting proper ones with CCW logos in gold. But he said they'd stopped doing those 8 years ago...here's an opportunity for someone to fabricate these centre caps...

GlennK
At Lee's today getting the car race prepped - only three weeks till the Supercar Event. Wheels and tyres at the local tyre specialist being set up and balanced. Did an underneath inspection - and the old Tein coilovers are shot. So having these bad boys fitted now: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153115672659584&set=oa.1589648727956849&type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-xtp1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F11045433_10153115672659584_5025575589702912049_n.jpg%3Foh%3D1806984867d92f255e96c1ef9e1d291f%26oe%3D55C7148A&size=720%2C960 Then we'll get the new wheels on. GlennK
Had a good day yesterday at Lee's: HKS Hipermax IV GTs fitted: New R888 315 compared to old Potenza 285: and I used to think the Potenzas were big! But the R888s fit nicely: Next step is to get made up CCW gold centre stickers - or Rays Volk stickers to go over the black centres. And to get a full geo setup done at WIM as soon as possible. GlennK
I like the look of them coilovers, let me know what they are like On drive back on motorway I felt the ride to be softer and smoother than my old setup. I will be tightening up the rears a bit and see what that feels like. And - how is WIM for custom Supra geo setups?
EdMorris
Nice update, but I feel a little hard done by. Surely we need see to the wheel faces. Come on you tease. Have you been WIM before?
Rob W
When I took mine to WIM I think they just set it up to stock, but they would do anything you ask within reason. I just said set it up the best they thought with the ride height I set it at. Top blokes that work at WIM, they won't steer you wrong
Luxluc
Come on Glenn .... more pics pls.
GlennK
Ok guys...I'll be back to do more pics later today. I've been to WIM before and you need to know what you want before going...so any advice on track setup would be good. For instance, the R888s show up a big negative camber with the new HKS rears at standard setting. This gives about 40mm outer edge of tyre not being used....
