its not needed

mine is using the stock one but heard at BPU you can remove the stock one and block them up and there will be the compressor surge noise which shouldnt kill the turbo thats running 1.2 bar or less. I would recommend getting a FMIC and a induction kit, even with the stock BOV mine sounds sweet as, there is a big gasp noise it makes thats addicting when you let off the gas. I need to get a video of it

I can't stand the sound of the one on mine :D

Stick with stock bov IMO

Have you tried changing the insert? It makes a massive difference to the noise. Also, there's a recirculating adapter so that you can feed it back into the intake, as per the stock setup.

I was going to get a hks one, circa 350, but when I asked Jurgen (who would have fitted it when bpu-ing) he said not needed, waste of money.

They've shot up in price. I got mine for around £200. That was a while back though. It's only a waste of money if you don't want the sound and your BOV is perfectly fine :D

Fussy git :D

There is a different inserts as scott said.

The purple one will make a more deeper woosh like a majority of the Bov's sound. Thats what I have in mine. But I may change back as I like to change it every now and again.

The gold insert is the same as the stock insert.
