ShawnPreece
I have only just put my new wheels on but can already tell because of the dish (and the colour) that they will hold the dirt massively, what would be the best cleaning method to maybe lower this as much as possible? can you use normal car wax on them maybe to create a slippery type surface coating that it might not stick to as much? they are white wheels if that makes any difference at all. supra_ufo
I was advised to put a layer of this stuff on http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/gtechniq-c5-wheel-armour/prod_878.html It will give your wheels an extra protection and make cleaning them alot easier, alot of new wheel owners use it. I was told 15ml is enough to do a set of 19" wheels.

Ric
Just research how to apply that stuff properly. Gtechniq stuff is great, but only if you apply it 100% to the letter as they say, it can sometimes become a pain, just get some decent wheel wax and some bilberry cleaner. cered
My advice based on experience: - Valet Pro Bilberry wheel cleaner - Bilt Hamber Autobalm The bilberry is exceptionally good (dilutable) wheel cleaner but safe for use on nearly everything (double check of course), can be used as much as needed and can use a lighter solution for a quick clean. The Bilt Hamber you can apply a few coats of and it'll practically be like a thin layer of lacquer, should last around 6 months (can last 6-12 months on car bodywork, but brake dust will probably chew through it if left on for weeks at a time) If the wheels get dirty in difficult places or go gold, the P21 wheel cleaning solution (small pink bottle) will make them look brand new. But can't be used often as it's highly acidic and could potentially harm finished wheels EDIT: I'm sure the above products from other posters are very good but have no experience with them so can't compare. Also Collinite, a very good wax manufacturer has recently won an Autoglym award for being a good wheel wax/sealant - Collinite 845.

a98pmalcolm
I used Autoglym alloy wheel seal after every wash.. Just spray it on and buff it off. Its kind of like an easy wipe polish. Great stuff.. Most probably not as good as the stuff mentioned above..
