Mason Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 I've done a few searches on here and have found mixed answers just like I'm getting off everywhere else lol, what fitment is needed for my J spec headlights? It says H4 on the actual headlights and a friend of mine is saying the same but then I'm being told I need HB3, anyone run them on a J spec and know exactly which ones I need as getting bulbs should not be this much hassle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nic Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Are you sure you're car has j-spec headlights fitted? only the UK spec glass headlights should have H4 written on them, if you're not sure post up a pic. What I'm thinking is that your car has been retro fitted with UK spec glass headlights. If they are j-spec headlights then you definitely need HB3/9005 headlight bulbs for the low and high beam. HB4/9006 will not fit as the diameter of the bulb is too wide for the hole in back of the j-spec headlights.
