Supraleeturbo
So I picked up a stock lip the other day and it's been painted and I want to get it back to the original stock look, so what can I use to strip the paint of. Many thanks
Hitbox Junkie
Paint stripper? Or would that eat into the plastic?
ripped_fear
I think i would just sand it back. work your way up to a 'superfine' wet and dry reckon it would look oem by the end.
mellonman
WoW that would be hard to do to get back looking right and take a very long time , the paint gets into the pores of the plastic so you would have to sand alot down then work your way back up with fine paper , but even with 2000 grit i think it would look dull . im pritty sure for the amount of effort you would have to put in it would be better yto just buy a unpainted one . you will spend at least £10 on sand paper and then the hours needed to getting looking close to right
