GTR Fever
Thanks guys! She has really transformed within the past few weeks/ months. Hoping to try TTC mode on the weekend to see if it fixes my hesitation issue (secondary turbo hesitation)
GTR Fever
So on Saturday I decided to FINALLY swap out my 4-bar steering wheel for a newer looking 3-bar. Huge difference in my opinion! Smaller diameter so it feels sportier as well! Later that day (night time), decided to fit my carbon eyelids that I had over a year and a half as well...not too sure how I feel about them but it will stay on for now.. You can see how faded the paint job is on the bumper...not too bad for a 22 year old paint job Then on Sunday, I took it to an Autocross event which was loads of fun! With the rain pouring it made getting her sideways even easier!!! No traction for almost the entire course but fun while doing it. Now I need two rear tyres llol
evinX
Dude it should cost small money to get the bumper painted. I know a guy in El Socorro who had many supras and still does paint...can probably link you up with him if need be.
GTR Fever
are you talking about Christen? He's a good buddy of mine. But no worries, I have plans to have the entire car painted in the near future

GTR Fever
Thanks bro! Car has really transformed in the past few months. Received my new OEM Toyota fuel filter today so that will be changed tomorrow, together with my tyres that were ripped to shreds on Sunday at the Autocross event lol
GTR Fever
So my window regulator died on me the same day I was changing the fuel filter. Put two pieces of PVC pipe inside the door to keep the glass up...thank goodness I fixed the air conditioning! The fuel filter seems to have made a huge difference...car revs much cleaner and idles nice and smooth now. Regarding the regulator, I ordered one from Keron, together with a new driver side seatbelt (mine retracts weird sometimes). Not sure how long it will take to reach me but that's alright. Car is making some good progress since the re-wiring was finished.
evinX
You will encounter minor problems along they way with progress on these old cars, but its worth it man
GTR Fever
I'm not too worried, it's not classed as a major issue for me
GTR Fever
Ok so finally some more updates (almost forgot about this thread) Window regulator and seatbelt from Keron installed and working perfectly! Installed some proper gauges/ gauge pod. Prosport boost, water temp and oil pressure with a gauge pod specific for Supra..looks so much better! With park lights off With park lights on
GTR Fever
Also changed my very old head unit to a nice Pioneer bluetooth setup (bought this for the Supra for Christmas lol) Most recently I took apart all the interior plastic trims to get them hydrodipped. They were pretty old and scratched. Got them back after around two weeks and installed the next day!
Fitz
Black carpet would go well in there.
GTR Fever
that is the next plan of attack. Dreading all the scrapping involved but it's needed in my opinion.
GTR Fever
A little late on updates but that's ok. Decided to tackle the black floor carpet piece by piece. Did the individual pieces first, big difference and now I can't wait to dye the entire mat! After the rewiring and a few other things being sorted, I took it back to the dyno and made significantly more power than last time, 315rwhp! That for me is impressive since it was on 95 RON fuel, very hot ambient temperature and just below 15psi with an automatic trans. She pulls much harder than before too! Started my brake upgrade which included: Cusco brake master stopper, Goodridge steel braided brake lines, STOPTECH disc pads, Brembo LCF600 brake fluid. Got the brake master stopper installed and can already feel a difference on heavy braking. This weekend I plan to tackle the pads, lines and fluid...will service and paint the calipers while I'm there.
