No mention of it at all on you tube etcwhich is supprising Yes I'm surprised there is no pics or videos as the amount of people at the event, and there were no serious injurys,
ATB
I read on the GTR forum that the family of the injured passenger doesn't wan't pictures to be posted of the accident as it looked horrible and the passenger is also still in hospital with a broken spine and more injuries. supra matt
O I guess this would explain why it's gone all quiet, but I dont get why people where trying to hide it! And saying the guy is ok and out of hospital! I hope he makes a good and full recovery and is on the mend, but I guess it's more the mental injury then the physical to, I myself was in a bad accident when I was younger as a passenger in the back of a car and am lucky to be alive aswell as my girlfriend at the time, and as a result of that I now hate been a passenger in fast cars as I have no control, And the same if I go out for a play I won't take a passenger just incase something happened, My thoughts go to the guy and his family, thankfully we live in the age of some great specialist doctors and surgeons alike that have all the latest technology to deal with cases like these, Edited May 17, 2015 by supra matt (see edit history)
Fizzy T
Damn that's a terrible thing to read, so glad they were stopped from using the disc cutter as that could of turned out even worse. Best of luck to those involved.

Rich.2211
Very sad to be reading this as the pictures from the build thread of the car were amazing and it was certainly one of my favourites. Hope the people involved make a full physical and mental recovery. Also, regards pictures, did the owner also request no pictures were to published online when the car crashed on the way into Japfest last year? Must be a time consuming job trying to police the internet.
tony tt
I did wonder why it was quiet. Very few have a 200mph crash with no helmets and a cage etc and walk away. Sad news Edited May 17, 2015 by tony tt (see edit history)

supra matt
Passenger is fine Vjay told me. Yes they were both airlifted to hospital straight away and as Jamie said both fine Passenger had a cut on his face that required some specialist treatment so was kept in over night We were very sad to hear of this on the day, I was only told that the car had crashed and it was bad. I was thankful to get the news shortly after that they were both ok. Its hit me pretty hard and does make you think a lot about what can happen if something goes wrong at high speed Or maybe not so fine I just don't get why people where saying this poor guy is fine when he clearly isn't! If I was the family and sore this thread I would be so upset, for everyone to be thinking he was home with just a cut face and some brushing, When the poor lad it in hospital with possible life changing injurys Hope he makes a full and positive recovery , Edited May 17, 2015 by supra matt (see edit history)
