Farlane92
Hi folks I'm looking to change my timing belt in the next few weeks and will be replacing it with the gates racing kevlar belt and whilst I'm in there changing the tensioner with a genuine toyota one also for peace of mind. Would it be necessary to change the tensioner pulley it's self or are these known for quite a long life? The car is a 98 with 72/300 km on so approx 40 something thousand miles. Ric
while you've got access to it, i'd change it. Same for the crank shaft pulley if it's old.
