So to continue my general theme around cars, I wanted to get the camper lower than it already was lowered.

The springs I had made the front sit down about 25mm more than the rear so I wanted to get the arse end down.

My springs were 55mm drop so we went for 55mm drop springs but from a T4 - these are alighter van so the springs are weaker which should have infact lowered the rear a bit more.... it didn't :(

So unless you go for air-bags (I wish!) im going to try out a T4 coilover spring setup - these look pretty basic and funky and can lower it by up to 80mm :D and a bit more if you get the 2mm shims to replace the standard ones. Hopefully get it back in to be swapped over end of the month!

I would have to say I wouldn't let one of my dogs ride in that thing, let alone my kids. Those springs are totally ridiculous, the loadings on the *TWO* effective coils must be insane. It must be a matter of WHEN they break, not if.... Please reconsider.

I know how much you love your dogs!!

They are proper FK springs, made for a T4 which is heavier than the T25

The previous "red" springs were pretty crap and by the time they'd come off most of the coils were compressed - these have been on a few weeks and they are a lot harder and haven't compressed hardly at all.....
