Guest jay0913
My question is will they clear at the front of my supra without any work? Thanks
Josh42
I'm running 9.5J ET30 fronts and have been for years. No issues at all with arch clearance even now that I'm on coilovers. The only issue I had was that, when I fitted UK brakes, my wheel was too close to the caliper without actually hitting it. So I fitted 3mm spacers and it now sits like this: It still clears the arches and I have no issues with rubbing.

Guest drakie
Don't suppose you know if the same width wheel with an et20 is going to poke to much do you?

Guest drakie
225 is that not a lot of stretch for a 9.5" rim? I will need the wheels not to rub arches.
mattdavies
I have a 285 on my 10" up front Thats a lot of tyre to be dragging round corners, there was a thread a while ago about a guy who went from wide tyres back nto stock width tyres and he said it transformed the way the car handles, this along with a few reports from a recent thread where people said they got more grip out of 265ish tyres then they did out of the 295ish tyres leads me to believe that having a reasonable sized tyre is a better option. That's fair and makes absolute sense, though at the same time I don't deem a 225 on a 10" to be a reasonable sized tyre I find my handling to be alright to be honest. The 315s at the back also hold up great
Big Mark
I'm running 9.5J ET30 fronts and have been for years. What size font tyres are you running? Do you reckon you'd of gotten away with a 5mm spaced to give you ET25? As that's the offset of the new 9.5J front wheels I'm looking at. pedrosixfour
I've a set of 295 Michelin Pilot Sport Cups to fit to 18 X 10 rims. One for each corner!
