CarlT67
I'm thinking of going for some XXR 531 wheels from Next Level Motoring in America. Looking at 18x8.5 Platinum 5-100/5-114.3 [+20mm] fronts and 18x9.5 Platinum 5-100/5-114.3 [+20mm] on the rear delivered for £700 Has anyone got any experience ordering from Next Level Motoring (http://www.nlmotoring.com) and will these sizes fit the supra with UK brakes. I did have a search and it looks like people have ordered similar sizes in different styles but I wanted to double check with the wheel specialists Many thanks
Fitz
Are you looking at NL Motoring as you want the Platinum finish option? As I know there a few UK Distributors but think I recall that in the UK they dont offer the Platinum finish. Also, side note. Just saw your sig says SRD 500S - did you buy Alex's (Drift Bear) Supra? gordy.r
Or.... You could just order them from SRB Power over here in the UK and save yourself a fortune on import taxes etc. I've just ordered some XXR 527's and wheel nuts from them and their service is excellent. And they do Platinum 531's http://srbpower.com/products/xxr-531-18x8-5-5x114-120-et35-74-1mm-platinum.html
gordy.r
Plus, it seems NL Motoring are sold out of 531's in Platinum at the moment...
Supraleeturbo
I'd go for a wider rear mate
gordy.r
I'd go for a wider rear mate Yeah that's a good point, I know a few of us with XXR wheels run 18x8.75 front and 18x9.75 rear. Et20.

Yep I bought Alex's Supra I'd go for a wider rear mate I don think they do wider in that design that will fit the supra, next size is 11" and the offset is 20 so that would need a lot of work to fit. The veilsides look better imo Im not so sure SRB Power don't seem to have the 9.5 et20 on their website either, Ill send them an email Edited May 5, 2015 by CarlT67 (see edit history)
Supraleeturbo
Just to let you know I may be wrong but you can fit 11 with an arch roll plus srb power are fantastic to deal with mate
CarlT67
I don't think 11 inch in a 20 offset will fit with just a roll but I could be wrong I contacted SRB and they only stock the 9.5 in et35 and they have no idea how long it would take to get the others in. Might order the fronts from them and the rears from nlm to save on import tax
James
An 11" wide wheel with an offset of 20 will fit on the rear with a roll, but you'd need to run extremely low to give extra camber and stretch a 265/35 on it to manage.
Style
I'd double check that these can clear UK brakes as well dude. I'm sure I've seen a few threads where the question has been asked....just can't remember the answer But I think there are a few XXR designs that won't clear them
T2 MSW
Have a look at Rota MXRs as they are a very similar looking wheel.

If you have to run such a small tyre is there much point in going for the wider wheels? What's the max tyre width on a 9" The 19s come in 10" width, not sure I want to go 19" though. Not unless you are planning on running the car low and require the smaller tyre size to avoid hitting the arch. I personally run a 315/30/18 on an 11.5" wide wheel. I get away with that though as they have an offset of +50, giving me less clearance on the inside, but avoiding rubbing on the arch. I have a flared arch though so it also helps. As for a wide tyre on a 9", you could put something like a 255 on there. I used to run 245/35 on my 8.5" fronts and 275/35 on my 9.5" rears on my previous Supra. CarlT67
I put 9 by accident, they'll be 9.5 so a 275 tyre will be ideal. The arches have been rolled so they should fit nice and flush
FAMILY MAN
Interested in your progress looking at these 18 inch XXR's myself but I'm not sure on the offsets . Would love to no what the max size you could run with on the stock arches with no rolling
CarlT67
Mine are rolled so I dont think ill be able to give you an answer for that. Whats the reason for not wanting to roll the arches? So I've done a quick calculation, buying the rears from NLmotoring and the fronts from SRB (both in stock) the total is £762 to the door including duty and VAT. Not too bad. FAMILY MAN
There has been a repair done at some stage on the drivers arch and I wouldn't want anything to happen to it as it looks spot on but I was wondering would 18/8.5et35 on the front and 18/9.5et35 on the rear be ok and would they clear uk brakes up front. I don't think the fronts will fit without a spacer in a ET35 with uk brakes. Ive gone for these now ordered them yesterday, had to order the fronts form SRB and rears from the US due to no stock of the rears at SRB and no way of telling a delivery time if they were ordered. Fronts came this morning and test fitted over the UK brakes fine. This means my Veilsides are up for sale here
