What would you own if not a Supra?

Seeing as I have only just bought the Supra, I know 2 choices I would have gone for at the price of my Supra had I gone another way:

1) R32 GTr

Or

2) RX7 FD3S

Then the if the question is '30 to 40k to spend', then the way I see it:

1) R35 GTr at 30k or just over (obviously a 2008 import)

Or

2) R34 GTr Nismo / V Spec at 35k or slightly above

But this is all living in my Jap favouring style, if I sit down for more than 5 minutes to think of all the cars I want at different prices, then I would be typing here all day....

Realistically, a nice FD3S RX-7. That is something that I pondered before going for my current Supra.

Other things that come to mind that I would gladly own (while being somewhat realistic) are:

Dodge Viper

Corvette C6

TVR Tuscan

997 C4S (though I'd prefer a Turbo)

Nissan GTR

There really are too many to list :)

Sort some photos out for your garage! :)

I am currently in mine.

XR8 Ute. 5.4l V8, 6 speed box and a blower! 500rwhp with no weight over the rear wheels!

I have always wated a V8 but could never afford it in the Uk. Got over here and supra/skylines are stupid prices. It was at that point I would do the Aussie thing and get a ute.... everything has been a bonus!

You not fed up with the blond wig and high heels yet? :D

Nope. Hardly driven it to be fair but every time I do, it makes me giggle. It IS that much fun, and the noise........ooh the noise...!!

For roughly how much if you don't mind me asking in public?

Incase you can't remember, you really hated me but after a while then almost liked me the last time I was on here! :D

I don't remember the liking bit. I have become more tolerant as I have got older though...:D PM me if you want to know what the car went for.

997 turbo, fiat 500 Abarth

I never thought you'd "do" a Porker JP. I was looking at 997 Turbos (when I had the money..:D) and decided against it after speaking to a couple of owners. They said the car was quick, very quick, but the 4WD ruined any sort of fun. I was advised to go with a 997 C2S if fun was the priority.

Since I sold the supra a few years ago, I have had:-

2002 Impreza STi 400bhp - fun, but I went too far with suspension mods and it was terrible on the road - SOLD

350z - fun, but needed a little less power for missus to use on the track - SOLD

GTR - the ultimate purchase, have owned for 3.5 years (longest I have owned any car, by far) and still love it!

240z - not driven it much, but do like it, a lot.... being rebuilt

Escort MK1 - not driven, being rebuilt

MX5 MK2 - awesome little car on track and will be kitted out to handling a little better on track and then over the winter it will either be supercharged or sold for a S2000 or 350z, again for the track.

Still on my list:-

R34 GTR

NSX

AE86

BRZ/GT86

70s Skyline/Hakosuka

Aston Martin

To replace my supra as a daily it would probably be an S15. If it was something totally impractical to fall in love with it would be an ra28 Celica gt
