toyotasuprauk
I know there's loads of posts about it, I went past a Texaco yesterday 100.9 for normal 95 ron!!!! Its the first time I've seen it on the boards and it looked strange as it couldn't fit and the extra 0 was squished in.
Robert
yeah i know how you feel wez, my local shell is selling optimax for 99p a litre, only annoying when you see that it used to be something like 86p a litre.
Kopite
Even more annoying when you think about how much is tax too! Wasn't the strikes 5 years ago caused by petrol gettin into the 70p zone? Imagine that now - 70p a litre would be a god-send!!
Pixelfill
99.9 per litre here too, Sorry guys I can't help feeling responsible. I picked my Supra up on Tuesday last week, and already the petrol has gone up like 10p a litre.

penguin
so... the question is... how far further up the ass are we going to take it before we hit back?
penguin
i'm suprised the media is paying such little attention to this..... it was the media which cause the last strike (or atleast catapulted it to those levels)
Faye Brother
Rightly or wrongly it's world events which have pushed the price of crude up so much, thus impacting upon fuel prices. Relating current world events to the price of oil is newsworthy but not in the sensationalist way that some newspapers like to adopt. The previous fuel protests were about the Government planning on raising fuel duty and therein lies the crucial difference. Which headline sells more papers and makes the reader feel less guilty?: New Orleans disaster pushes up the cost of your fuel by 5p a litre or Greedy Chancellor steals more of your money through stealth petrol tax. Kev.O
Prices really are high at the moment though the Tesco's near me are selling super unleaded 99 RON at 94.9 and I've got a 5 pence off a litre so I'll be filling her to the brim later
